The Committee on Land Use met to vote on four items referred by its subcommittees: LU 114 (Queens Community District parkland/open space acquisition in the districts of Council Members Won and Krishnan), LU 115-116 with modifications (200 Kent Avenue rezoning in Brooklyn for a mixed-use residential project of about 143 units with up to 36 permanently affordable, modification removing a parking option), LU 181-19 with modifications (47-308th Street rezoning in Council Member Thomas-Henry's Queens district for a mixed-use development of about 119 units with up to 30 affordable, modified to rezone as R7-D rather than R7-X), and LU 117 (Flat Iron/NoMad Business Improvement District major concession application expanding the existing concession area along Fifth Avenue and Broadway between East 19th Street and West 31st Street). With the support of the local members, the committee approved all items by a vote of 11 in the affirmative, zero in the negative, and no abstentions.
